Warranty and Return Policy

LEGAL WARRANTY

In accordance with the provisions of the Consumer Protection Act (Law 1480 of 2011), Inversiones Valencia Asociados SAS is liable for any defects in the quality, suitability, and safety of the products offered through the cafesoca.co online store and Café Soca physical stores. No exchanges or refunds will be made for products that meet all quality, suitability, and safety standards offered by Inversiones Valencia Asociados SAS at the time of sale.

The warranty period for products sold at Café Soca’s physical stores and online store is thirty (30) calendar days from the date of purchase by the Customer. 

Inversiones Valencia Asociados SAS will either replace the item, in whole or in part, with another of the same type, with similar characteristics or technical specifications—which shall not be inferior to those of the product covered by the warranty—or issue a full or partial refund of the price paid.

If the Customer requests that the item be replaced with an identical one or one with similar characteristics, the exchange will be made within fifteen (15) business days following the date on which the Customer returns the product to be exchanged. Once the Customer returns the product, the warranty period begins anew.

In cases where a refund is issued, Inversiones Valencia Asociados SAS has up to thirty (30) business days from the date the warranty claim is accepted to process the refund.

Inversiones Valencia Asociados SAS shall be exempt from liability under the warranty if it is demonstrated that the defect stems from:

  1. Force majeure or unforeseeable circumstances;
  2. The act of a third party;
  3. Improper exposure, handling, or storage of the product by the consumer, 

The product's legal warranty applies only within the territory of the Republic of Colombia.

CHANGES

  1. We recommend that you carefully read the following instructions to request an exchange for products purchased at Café Soca stores:
  2. The maximum period for returns is fifteen (15) calendar days from the date of purchase indicated on the invoice.
  3. No refunds are given.
  4. If the error occurred during the shipment of the product, Inversiones Valencia Asociados SAS will cover the shipping costs for the exchange. If the error occurred when the customer placed the order, the customer will be responsible for the shipping costs.
  5. The exchange is subject to verification of the product's condition. 
  6. For any exchange, the product must be in its original packaging, include all parts, have all labels attached, be in perfect condition, and be accompanied by the original receipt.

SATISFACTION GUARANTEED OR YOUR MONEY BACK

  1. The "Satisfaction or Your Money Back" guarantee applies only to specialty coffees: Premium House Blend, Pink Bourbon, Honey, Amaretto, Geisha, Honey, Mujer Caficultora, Organic, or Cholupa.
  2. The refund request must be submitted within 15 (fifteen) calendar days of receiving the product.
  3. The returned bag must not have been used more than 30 grams.
  4. The refund is subject to verification of the product's condition. 
  5. The customer is responsible for covering the shipping costs to send the product to Calle CL. 70A #12-36 Bogotá, DC, along with a refund request letter, invoice, and bank statement.
  6. Once we have received the product and verified that the conditions have been met, the refund will be processed within 8 business days.
